Education and FAQs

Answers Before You Apply

We want families to feel informed before reaching out. Our FAQs explain health testing, training expectations, placement timelines, pricing ranges, what is included, and what kind of support is available after placement.

No. We only train puppies from our own breeding program. Starting with our own dogs from birth allows us to guide development from the very beginning, which is essential to the outcomes we produce.

Our program moves through four structured phases: Baby, Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Dogs are available for placement at each stage, with full service readiness achievable at 12 months.

Puppies may be placed beginning at 8 weeks. Most of our placements happen at 20 weeks, which is our Intermediate level. At this stage a dog has completed foundational and intermediate training, earned their Canine Good Citizen title, and is ready to continue developing in a home or working environment. That said, the right stage depends on your specific needs, and we are happy to talk it through with you.

Many earn AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy and AKC Canine Good Citizen titles, and select dogs complete the AKC Temperament Test.

We continuously evaluate temperament, confidence, trainability, and readiness throughout development.
